Si espande il DC Universe televisivo.
Si svolge oggi al Comic-Con di San Diego il panel CW e DC Entertainment durante il quale verranno presentate le nuove stagioni di Arrow e The Flash e la prima stagione di Legends of Tomorrow. Per l’occasione è stato diffuso il trailer stilizzato Hero Evolution:
The Flash vede nel cast Grant Gustin (Barry Allen/The Flash), Candice Patton (Iris West), Rick Cosnett (Eddie Thawne), Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin Snow), Carlos Valdes (Cisco Ramon) e Jesse L. Martin (Detective Joe West). Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, David Nutter e Sarah Schechter sono i produttori esecutivi. La seconda stagione partirà il 6 ottobre negli USA.
Arrow vede nel cast Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen/Arrow), Katie Cassidy (Dinah “Laurel” Lance), David Ramsey (John Diggle), Willa Holland (Thea Queen), Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak), John Barrowman (Malcom Merlyn) e Paul Blackthorne (Detective Lance). Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg e Sarah Schechter sono i produttori esecutivi. La quarta stagione partirà il 7 ottobre negli USA.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow vede nel cast Victor Garber (Firestorm), Brandon Routh (Atomo), Arthur Darvill (Rip Hunter), Caity Lotz (White Canary), Ciara Renee (Hawkgirl), Dominic Purcell (Heatwave) e Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold). La prima stagione partirà durante la pausa di mid-season di Arrow e The Flash.. -

In un’ intervista a The Hollywood Reporter i produttori esecutivi rivelano ulteriori dettagli della nuova serie tv targata DC Comics.
Da quando la CW ha annunciato la sua nuova serie (che riunirà parecchi personaggi del mondo Flash/Arrow) i fan non stanno più nella pelle nell’avere sempre più notizie riguardo lo show.
In un’intervista a The Hollywood Reporter i produttori esecutivi Marc Guggenheim e Phil Klemmer hanno rilasciato ulteriori dettagli: ”Lo show conterrà elementi provenienti dall’opera Justice League International Run di K.Giffen e J.M De Matteis e del Vanishing Point 2011″ afferma Guggenheim, che continua sul Vanishing Point dicendo che sarà una bella ambientazione per Rip Hunter e gli altri folli caratteri dello show.
Continua inoltre parlando di Hawkman, che avrà più di 5000 anni e sarà rappresentato fedelmente rispetto ai fumetti. Klemmer invece sottolinea la possibilità di perdere dei personaggi durante i viaggi nel tempo:”Alcuni potrebbero non farcela o perdersi nel tempo”. Su Booster Gold invece, Klemmer conferma che non avrà una parte dello show.
Legends Of Tomorrow sarà presentato nel 2016, subito dopo un crossover tra Flash e Arrow che stabilirà la squadra e il nuovo antagonista, Vandal Savage..
